True. Also, when EDV starts hiring again a lot of the hiring will come from their STEP (student to Endeavor pilot) schools, where they absolutely do get the interview and job offer as a low time pilot. Logbooks must be checked again to ensure ATP mins. This happens during indoc.

Maybe so, but even GoJet is preferencing hiring street CA’s over FO’s.

Most regionals are hurting for captains as it stands right now. 12-18 months ago any regional would take basically anyone they can get that met the mins. Not so at this particular snapshot in time, but we digress from the original posters topic regarding logbooks.

But if you bring your logs to training, don't leave them in your car or hotel room. Ask the training dept to lock them up until you need them. This I learned from other's misfortune.

Just to expand on this flight students obviously have to have their log book signed by their instructor but it really should be kept in a safe place at the flight school and not in the aircraft. Outside of that, a check ride or interview you should not take it anywhere and keep it in a safe place. The last thing you want is to have your logbooks destroyed and have to try to explain it to a mainline interview.

Can't you just print out the last page or two with your regional training in it and add it to your previously printed pages.

FWIW, I have several folks ask me to sign their logbooks when using the sim time to meet the restricted ATP minimums.
