TSA vs. Pinnacle
Just wondering what everyone thinks about these two companies. We all know that deal about TSA pilots have with management, but it sounds as if Pinnacle is not much better in that regard. Looking at pay, TSA now pays for hotel during training, and I believe pay during training is more. TSA also starts its pilots higher at 22, compared to 21. But yet we hear much more complaints about TSa than pinnacle. What do you guys think?

Here's the deal
I have been with TSA since Oct 2006. I know that many before me (shrek) will tell you this company sucks, and yes. This company has caused a lot of problems for a lot of people. Management doesn't seem to think properly at times and the company can most definetly be like a disfunctional family.
On the flip side. My quality of life at TSA has been excellent. I was hired into the 2nd class after the furlough. This in turn allowed me to gain seniority very fast. I started out as the number 50 FO in RIC working a reserve line to now in April the number 30 FO with a hard line. I trip trade, I bid durring open time, and I take the time to work on my schedule to get what I want. The overnights are tolerable. Its a jet. Not many guys my age (20) can say that got a job in a jet with 1000 hours.
The pay check has never bounced.
The captains for the most part are pretty cool guy and girls. I can't complain about that. We even have a few cuties for F/A's and Pilots.
This company is a regional airline. REGIONAL AIRLINE! You will fly to the same places and get paid the REGIONAL wage. Its not spectacular. But if your looking for a company thats no bull and by that I mean you F up your gone, and if your looking for a good pilot group. Then TSA is right for your. If those don't mean anythign to you and all you want is good pay good company and brand new airplanes....GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
