Texaspilot, how much flight time do you have, if I may ask?

No problem. I have 460/65, 230 dual given, bachelor degree, veteran.

I am really looking forward to the interview. Not expecting anything, but am really excited nevertheless.

Texas,
The CRJ sim is a lot of fun, but can be overwhelming when you first strap in. The profile they used a couple years ago was pretty basic instrument stuff. TO, climb, level off, steep turns, turning decent, level off, ILS appr. to VMC, No landing. I think it was CLT 36L, but it doesn't really matter - your nfp will set everything up for you you just keep the shiny side up & you'll be ok on the eval. I'd suggest you make sure your scan is solid, and then try flying glass on MS Flight Sim. Glass is the probably the biggest difference you'll see from what you're probably accustomed to doing.

Have fun at the interview, it is a great experience, but I can't stress enough, if you don't have to live in CLT, TYS or DAY, you don't want to work at PSA. Things are bad there and appear to be getting worse. You're not that far away from Eagle or Xjet times. They are certainly worth the wait for a Texan vs PSA. Even Colgan would be better if you can get IAH.

Thanks for the insight Rob. I am still debating whether to stay instructing to get to Eagle or take the job if it is offered.

Yep!! Everyone made it to the sim after passing the test and panel interview. The sim ride was nice, that was my first time in a level D so I was blown away by all that automation, I flew pretty well to, I think, kept the GS and LOC at about a 2 dot deflection, that was my 1st time mind you, so if I get the call, I'm know I am going to live in that level D.
