Default What do you do on your time off?

Seems like negetivity has been running rampant lately on the board, and as someone who is hopefully about to become part of the horrible world that is regional airlines, I would like to know what I have to look forward to. I'm wondering if you guys use your flight privileges as much as you thought you would as well as where you go and what you do!

I got a buddy that teached English in Rome, I visit him when I have 3 or 4 days off in a row, other than that, gym, wax my car, and walk around the mall in my uniform

Love the mall in uniform idea! HAHA! No going to Mexico and getting real drunk on the beach for a couple of days!? PS I asked you in another thread how hard LAX was to get as a base for XJT. I have heard that they are not going to have many planes based there, but my instructor who now flies for express said it would be easy for me to get.

I commute home and then commute back to work.

When I actually spend some time at home, I sit around and try to be as lazy as humanly possible. This usually involves the pool, some beers, and bothering the girlfriend. I also check airlinepilotforums.com to laugh at Mesa jokes, feel guilty for working for any carrier other than XJet, read the same questions worded differently 8,000 times, and see how many times SAAB has complained about 70 seat pay.

Than I crank one out to a picture of the 170 and drift off to sleep.

I was just gonna ask Saab if his buddy (hopefully) is better at this English thing than he is, lol.

Training for the Army 10 miler this fall, and trying to get my 5K time down to 21:00 and my 10K down to 45:00.

Oh yeah, and spending too much time on aviation forums...

BattleField 2 is the only place to be... i also like doing yard work (my own house of course), and hanging out with the family.

you play video games on the flight deck basically....then you go home and play more video games.

I'm kinda partial to mountain biking BIG TIME! Then I like to put on this genuine pilots uniform I bought at Sporty's and go to the mall to hang out with SAAB

Need to get some speed work in if you are going to get that 5K time down to 21:00, means spending time on the track.
