If you could choose between E-RJ or C-RJ
#31
might work in a crj but when you move on to a bigger airplane with a much larger horizontal stab, could be trouble. a lot of tail strikes are attributed to trimming in the flare

ERJ wins.
(You don't see a whole lot of CRJ's with missile systems)

PS
I'm a mediocre pilot at best and even I can roll the ERJ on once in a while.

Having the choice is great! I'm a 145-Driver, and I've got two interviews next week, one being for the right seat in a CRJ...
Now for my opinion: I am in LOVE with the EMB. The Flight Deck is far more aesthetically pleasing, the Ram-horn Yoke is comfortable as hell, she flies (and lands) like a dream, the EFIS is Sharp and Crisp, and she just plain looks cool.
BTW, she also flies like a real-plane. What is that 5 Degree nose-down on Approach in the -200?!
I've also jumpseated on some CRJ-200's, and I have to say I was not impressed - Not too thrilled about the aircraft swap (I WOULD take a 700/900, however), but for the right company I'd do it...
In the end, at this point in your career, It makes sense to build around QOL, NOT equipment...that comes later in your career ;-)
Best of Luck!
