Anybody in the Mesa Airlines May 7 training class???
Hey,
Just wondering who is going?? I was hired and I accepted it because I got the plane I wanted, and I believe I will get the base i want. I will be flying into phoenix may 6....let me know who is going!?

think the bonus was for currently qualified pilots, not new hires. although, are you a newhire? i'd assume so, i can't imagine anyone making a crossmove to mesa just for plane and base...it'd be like deciding to go to trans states because you want the ERJ and St. Louis.

Deal is you had to of had United Express experience. Maybe the guy got a hometown base, gotta build your time somewhere. I can tell you for a fact that unless you live 6 minutes from the airport you are based at and you are home every night, you'll be looking before the end of your 1 year training contract.

Wow! go some were else.... Spent 2 years there would rather eat cat sh!t then experince mesa again! Get youself 250-500hrs SIC and leave... But hay I was just as happy as you are if not more, so only saying DO NOT make the same mistake I did. Put it this way next month I become a second year FO at XJET and my buddys are comming up on 4 years and I make more money!!!! Oh yah and more days off... QOL QOL QOL QOL QOL QOL

. I know you don't understand but I can tell just from reading your posting that you have no idea what I'm talking about or why everyone is crackin' on you. Ignorant, not stupid, newbie’s like you are what's driving our industry down. But don’t worry you’ll figure it out soon enough. Until then spend sometime researching Mesa by using the search function, then maybe you can SAVE YOURSELF 
and bail on Mesa before it’s to late.It's been stated above by Low Fuel but I'll repeat it. QOL is MORE important than a/c! You must learn this immediately!
P.S. Just in case you don't know: SJS = Shiny Jet Syndrome (Mesa banks on this) & QOL = Quality Of Life (Mesa the worst)
