You probably failed because of your own POS attitude... Try not to dirty up those Ejets over there, I'd like them clean once we take them all.

OH and for the record, I'm a SR line holder. You have a lot to learn bud.

How’s the pass rate at RPA with AQP style training ?
Are pilots getting extra sims/ground instructions if needed?

Oh this thread is amazing. Mesa cadet chimes in talking about how awful YX training is because he failed out due to his own admitted laziness. If you had a few more ounces of ambition, the iPad training is actually very good, and I found it to be a lot more effective than sitting around in classroom listening to some instructor spending many additional hours interjecting their own opinions and "ways" into the discussion. Having spent months of my life sitting through various type rating ground schools, I'd much rather be at home learning the material on my own. Yea you'll do really well at mainline (or any other real airline, really)...they're all lined up waiting to give you personal TLC and hold your hand through training. I wouldn't bother keeping your phone too close waiting for the call, though. But hey...one day when Mesa ceases to exist, there will always be a need for a rubber dog **** pilot out of HKG.

I've heard that story before in the lobby of the STL airport Drury. Probably the same YX flunky Mesa FO NH that told me YX NH's take things "too seriously," and training should be "easy and fun." It's only as easy as you apply yourself to be, and it's not designed to be fun...unless you're working for a half-assed operation. Meanwhile, Mesa is the leader in the clubhouse for pilot candidates that more reputable outfits won't touch with a 50 foot barge pole. No one ever goes to Mesa as a first choice, and if they do, it's likely because there's something in their past (criminal record, DUI's, or multiple failures) that prevents them from getting hired at a more reputable shop. That's not exactly a guarded secret in the industry. But hey...good for you at getting a second chance. That 121 failure isn't going to bode well for you ever getting out, though.

Boy... what a thread you have created. Looks like the act of being the class clown and not joining in on the group studies after class have paid off for you.

You 100% did this to yourself. Plenty of your classmates passed. But enjoy that 300% while it lasts bubba. You 100% set yourself up to fail by not taking it seriously.
