In other industries this is affecting women negatively as much as the men. Men won’t have closed door meetings with women unless a witness is present and no more men women subordinate dinners or lunches or even possibly mentoring among other things. In some way the whole dilemma puts women down on the corporate advancement ladder. Pretty much if it’s not in public it’s frowned upon and can lead to like most of you posted a “he said she said” situation.

I'll go out with the crew if we are clicking and when we do its always a good time.
I just put out the "married guy" vibe and never have any issues.

Call me inexperienced, but I feel like the only way youd run into issues is if you were looking for issues. Just be a decent person and that's pretty much all that's required.

Most elevators have cameras. Probly safer in the elevator. Idk.

When the younger FAs want to go out a drink, I stay in. I know the risks and avoid them. I'm not naive, just smart.

I’ll shut up if you can provide me some proven examples where a false accusation was made and someone’s career ruined, based on a simple act of going out in public with a female (since that’s what we’re really talking about) flight attendant or pilot. Not hanging out in her room, not sleeping with her, not being a “good guy” who makes a few too many jokes and gets a little too aggressive, not a “stand up guy” who made a “drunken mistake.”

I’ve seen the result of a “false accusation” of a “good guy” and the years of torment it caused the victim.

I’ve also seen the fallout from a true false accuser, but guess what, nobody who carried themselves with integrity got touched.

I’m quite familiar with the processes in place dealing with these situations. It’s much more in depth than “he said/she said.”

Also, most of you guys say FAs are the crazy ones?! The paranoia is thick on this topic and it's a little frightening they let some of you fly people around! The word cuckoo comes to mind. :rolleyes:
