I think this thread has run its course. Not everyone is capable of learning from the mistakes of others. Some people will remain in denial right up until they are personally burned. Some will stay in denial even then.

That’s OK. They paid their dues and are entitled to learn from their own mistakes.

And you've probably never been falsely accused either. Guys on here are saying they have to go to extremes to prevent a false accusation, and all they really have to do is keep their pants on, and keep the hotel rooms to single occupancy.

I think this thread has run its course. Not everyone is capable of putting aside their irrational fears of and disdain for women. Some people will carry these chips on their shoulder right up until they are alienated from every woman in their lives. Some will carry them further still.

That’s okay. They paid their dues and are entitled to be as weird, fearful, and irrational as they want.

I love that y’all are so afraid of being “metoo’d,” while ignoring the fact that people who are getting “metoo’d” are acting very unprofessionally with their coworkers. Extremely few people are getting falsely accused of anything, and virtually none of them are getting accused of anything without some level of compromising behavior attached.

The tawdriness is only matched by ignorance.

Yes, thank you for showing that foolish, sexist paranoia is rampant, especially among men who are just realizing it’s not okay to harass women endlessly.

I think those with a certain level of intellect can sorta read this thread and read what the respective sides are saying/arguing and sorta get an idea of how to proceed. To me it’s as clear as day...:D.

I have very little fight in this topic due to being happily married for a long time and honestly, after working all day with the crew the last thing I feel like doing is hanging out with them more.

However, I will say that the issue is twofold.

1. There are morons out there that get themselves in trouble for being unprofessional.

2. Society has decided that men are now guilty until proven innocent in these matters.

When these are factored in you have a situation where most of the normal guys are overly cautious so as to to not fall under number two and the guys that fall into number one continue to make it worse and worse for group two.

What if his religion prevented him from flying with a female? Would his employer accommodate that?
