i didnt say they had to have a buzz cut .....the point was nothing to do with military....its about a professional appearance.....and when a punk kid looks like he it trying to be an Abercromie boi and fly at the same time.....he comes off looking like a moron

the definition of professional is based on what the company requires. if a company says to maintain a professional standard you must wear this and have your hair to this length, then you are a professional. as long as they follow company guidance (skywest hats optional) you cant fault them.
my new company doesnt even have hats. does that make us unprofessional?

no not at all....are you reading anything between your bong hits?..bro....if its optional or not required ....who cares...however, try the pinky ring at a Delta or Continental interview ......see if they dont show you the door
i am sure I acted like a moron in my twenties......however it only hurts the profession to 'high five' and act like the kids that most are, while in the terminal in front of passengers

SJS.
I must be retarded because I remember being satisfied with being hired into the 1900 many moons ago. I won't be a Capt again for a long time but when I do upgrade, ALPA Scabs, F.A.G.'s, and GoJetters wouldn't be welcome on my j/s. Many feel the same, some may not care...you won't know till you round the corner and ask for a ride. Is it worth it? Not to me but to each his own.
