i would rather be a professional at the cost of seeming 'intense' ....at least passengers can look at me and see an airline pilot....and not an unprofessional moron who wont wear their hat because they think it looks stupid....has hair that looks like they just got out of bed....a pinky ring and a shell neckalce ( these guys belong at a gay parade not an airplane) and pork chop side burns .....I could go on and on.....but its actually making it easier for me to succeed....those types are the ones that will be stuck at their current regional when they are in their 50s :-) ........a little off track but this is TOO fun!!

Yep...one result of lower hiring min's are lower standards - the KIDS who have no sense of Professionalism walking around in view of Passengers like they're teen-queen models...It is embarrassing for us ALL.
I've flown with Captains that had no Pride in their appearance, shirts untucked, never ironed... - that is just as much a disgrace. I hate to be negative about any Fellow Pilot (except, of course, of a GoJetter)

when it comes to women, these guys that look "gay" lay more pipe than anybody else out there. But thats beside the point.
At any rate, so what if they look that way. as they mature theyll take on a different style of clothing and haircuts etc. you never have to see them your terminals are typically far apart. and wait a minute youre on the cargo side you never seem at all so why do you care?

hahahaha too funny HMP. well if were going to start nitpicking on who looks professional and who doesnt, this would go on forever. people look the way they look right now because thats whats in right now. just because your generation cant associate with it, doesnt mean its unprofessional. its fine. hairstyles are hairstyles, and if theyre approved length then so be it. if a guy wants to wear a ring on his pinky so what, as long as its approved in the company manual which it probably is.
the untucked shirt thing and slob look is not specific to the regionals, its at all levels.
and while i myself do not lay any pipe (im a freight dog now nobody will touch me) i have to live vicariously through them

well if they have fun with the male flight attendants ......thats their bizzness
.....the sunglasses on the back of the head is one of my favorite.......guys like that are the ones/and reason that I LOVE to irrrk with this GJ stuff....I really could care less about GJ....I work at AE and I admit I made a bad disicion......but to see the kiddies get all huffy.....its all worth it :-)
and the passengers think your morons....put them in your pocket....and stop giving and getting 'pipe' from your boi FA!!
