You will have a crapload more amount of free time as a regional pilot then a CFI. You just need the discipline to use that free time effectively, especially on the road.

I知 at a regional and doing 9 credits (3 classes) and it痴 a lot. 2 classes would be manageable, 3 is heavy.

I'm very happy with Liberty. Started in fall 2018, depending on how ambitious I am with my course load I could be done this coming year. Gave me a lot of credits for my certificates and ratings. Transferred a lot of my credits from previous colleges as well. Not the cheapest option for sure but the coursework and instructors have been great. All online works with a busy schedule as well.

Currently a regional FO, taking 6 classes this semester at Utah Valley. Came in with 60 community college credits, got credit for my certs and additional experience. Some of my credits didn稚 transfer so back peddled a bit. But no worries, as I知 bidding some rsv to give me more time at home to do my classes. UVU is great so far

Can you confirm that if you aren稚 a resident of Utah, you値l be paying 3 X the listed tuition except during summer? I was surprised to hear something of this sort during the end of my registration process.

Makes me think I may be going to Liberty after all...

You know that if you fly for an ALPA airline that you get a discount with TESU right?

Texas A&M University-Central Texas has a great online aviation science program. It's also one of the cheapest and you an apply any pilot cert. from any school for those credits.
