I'm not going to read the last 68 pages of this thread, but if the driver handles my bags I'll give him a few bucks. If I'm just getting on and getting off without any kind of assistance (and sometimes even have to open/close the door while driver sits in his seat), then no. They aren't paid hospitality wages that are completely reliant on tips like bartenders and restaurant servers are.

You may be better off not tipping, if you can't count. No telling how much money you might fork over.

I trip the van or limo, as well as the restaurant, the maid, etc. That said, I don't really care what anyone else thinks about my tipping, so whether you or anyone else does, or does not approve, makes no difference. That said, I have a very low opinion of those who don't tip, and I'm sure they don't care, either.
