Obnoxious F/A's
Im off to ITALY in a few hours so I had to vent before I go...................Ill be without APC for two weeks
At FL370 on a YYZ to IAH 4 hr flight after about 2 hrs we had to DING the F/A because she obviously could care less about what we needed................after all we only had to be at the airport at the asscrack of dawn........... So after the first hour and half of her not asking us if we were ok the CA dings her and she says "Im in the back ill call you guys back"................she just hangs up so we wait until ohhhhhhhhhh I don;t know another 45 mins the CA dings her again the F/A sounds annoyed so she says WHAT DO YOU WANT, we asked for Coffee................she says oh well theres not to much left can you guys wait until we get on the ground, I dont feel like brewing another pot
1) Are you ******** kidding me?
2) I know the job of F/A isnt the easiest, but niether is asking your crew if they would like something to eat/drink???
I know its silly but garbage like this drives me crazy.................... anybody else have any miserable F/A stories.
oh and we never did get the COFFEE

No offense to your captain, but it sounds to me like he didn't exactly assert his position as the captain.
Of course as pilots, we need to understand that it's a two way street. I've seen a lot of flight crews treat their FA's like crap. I learned early on that it's best to have a good working relationship with the cabin, and to set/establish expectations and standards from the start of the trip.
I never had an issue with a FA, but I also made sure that they were throughly briefed and knew that they had the flight crews full support. As such, 99% of them always took care of us FIRST.
