I called at least twice a week. They also told me that they would positive space me from where ever I was to MSP for IOE. But again, I still havn't got a call. I plan on getting to MSP early myself.
They're supposed to call you and that's your "official" notification. But, as I learned last weekend, they don't always call. Good thing I was checking CrewTrac. You're wise to keep your eyes on CrewTrac (almost daily).

Go to mymesaba then click on flight ops on the left hand side. Then click on the crew web icon. It helps if you bookmark it when it loads so you don't have to log into mymesaba every time you wanna check your schedule.

You can also access it directly at http://crewweb.mesaba.com

Saves waiting an eternity for my mesaba to load.

Default Reserve Time?

If your on reserve for a while at Mesaba what is the maximum time you have from phone call to the time you have to be at the airport? Just curious as to how close to airport a guy needs to live. I've heard a couple different answers and some people say you can work on the time a little bit? Thanks

you have 1.5 hours to show time (ie to be at the airport), then 1 hour before the departure time of the flight.

though....I have heard of some guys making use of the fact that we dont do a check in call when we are on property...ie...they wouldnt know if you just showed up at the gate on time.

I'm not going to risk it though.

Hey CaptAmerica I can tell ya IOE on the Saab is atleast a month. Starting week #4 since my checkride and still not a word, in the 12/28 class. From what some of the people in the 12/3 class have said still got atleat 2 more weeks to go...the break is nice though. Taken the time off to go see some old friends around the country and just hang out with the family.
