I must be mistaken. Maybe we entered the market when USAir pulled out because of subsidies by the city. Actually, that sounds more like what occurred, now that I'm thinking about it.

AFAIK - no training contract for new hires, except if you're hired for the street CA position.

LBE is NOT EAS because it is too close to PIT. The route was subsidised by Kennametal and the city. Not sure how long the agreement was for though... it's been running since either the end of March or early April 2005.

Does anyone know if we have been making money on it? Does it seem to make sense that they would keep going there?

Being that mesaba is paid not by loadfactor but by the completion of the flight I guarantee mesaba has made money on it, but the real question is did NWA.
