Well Aug 2 is my interview but I have every intention of getting hired so I'll be at the school house soon enough. I think I have a pretty good grasp on what to expect on the interview.

I have an interview with Mesaba on the 25th. It seems like there is going to be a lot of growth there. Anyone know what the upgrade outlook is like?

I have been told about 18 months--could be longer, could be shorter. I am not too worried about it right now though. I am in the low 600s of a pilot group that will be 1100 or so we have been told.

And I will most likely be awarded the MSP base this week even before starting the sim.

They are assigning bases while your in training?? Are they talking about which bases are short right now? I'm hoping for MSP or MEM. Any idea what reserve time is at these bases right now?

You will most likely get MEM right off the bat. Most people in my class wanted either DTW or MSP. If you want to stay in MEM I don't imagine you will have much or any reserve time but I haven't flown the line yet so I am no expert.

i interviewed late may, got the call june fifth, they wanted me in a late Aug class but i am under contract till aug 31 so i am in a sept 10 class.
are there many captains leaving to NW? or mainly hiring for expansion
