Hey a few questions for you guys. I just got a call from Mesaba to set up an interview date for sept 10th or 11th and wanted to get a little info. I was trying to find how long their training contract is for, and where they are most likely going to base pilots for this class (I'm not too crazy about the idea of living in Detroit). Also, if it's possible to commute or if i'll sit on reserve stuck at a domicile.

Any feedback is appreciated.

No training contract.

New hires usually end up in MEM or DTW for the 900/saab, MSP for the 200.

Commuting is possible, with a good commuter policy. Though with an hour and a half call out, you'll likely need a crash pad/hotel as we don't have long call for reserves.

Just come to the interview, you'll have most if not all your questions answered. You might even get a job out of it too!

I applied online about a week ago and updated my stuff yesterday, still no word back. When you applied did they send you a confirmation email or anything? And how long was it after you sent in your stuff until you got the call for the interview. Thanks.

hey Skystormer, yes I did receive a confirmation email shortly after sending in an application through their online site (that same night I believe). Maybe try shooting them another app? - you can also check that status of your app on their website.

good luck

Yeah, I got the same confirmation email a few hours after sending it in. It's time to hurry up and wait.

I applied about 4 weeks ago and got the confirmation email. I think it's just going to take time to get a call. From what I understand, those who were called for the 9/8 class had their apps in for quite awhile (some on the order of 4 months).

ATTENTION: CrewWeb will be unavailable tonight, Thursday Sept 4th, from 11pm to 3am Central time.
The IS Dept will be upgrading CrewWeb in order to address a number of issues.
