We old timers at Mesaba won't lose any sleep over this. Contrary to popular belief our **** does stink. It's pretty rank actually. We've been beaten down before and have pushed through. This is nothing. My best wishes to guys/gals who had a class date get cancelled. Sorry this obviously wasn't in our control. Best of luck to you.

You pretty much have it right... I've been burned and beaten by Delta twice now in the last 2 months, furloughed OH, 11/08, Jan 5 XJ class canceled 7 days before class. Thanks for the late notice DL, I already put in my two weeks at my computer course development job.... so I 'got nothin' now. Only hope is Comair responding to my app about a course development vacancy....

That sucks man. **** Mesaba management. They had to have seen that coming, and still wasted so many peoples time.

I hope this award to ASA doesn't cost any jobs over at Mesaba. Clearly not our intention

Its managements fault. Lies, and deceit.

Well, it'll take some major outside-the-box thinking to stop this insanity.

Sadly, I don't think that ALPA pilots have been abused nearly enough to start thinking outside the box. So the beatings shall continue...

I'm in what I guess is the last class, which started on Dec 15. I wonder what we are going to hear tomorrow when we walk into class........

I'm all for outside the box... but I haven't even had the chance to get involved....

Can someone go their whole career working for different airlines for < 2 years and get furloughed at every single one of them?.... I'm starting to see a trend.... I'd hate to be a career 1st/2nd year pay FO for the rest of my life.

Diver... your career goal should be to get into management. Then you can whipsaw the monkeys left and right - they'll **** and moan, but they won't do a thing, and you'll get a nice, fat bonus. Oh, wanna fly? Just take your bonus money and buy yourself a nice little Cessna 210.

So where and when did this all start? I have a class for March but havent heard anything from Mesaba that anything has changed! How do we know this is definite and not temporary? Is there a published article that Delta is pulling out of Mesaba? I just see it as word of mouth right now and need clarification.
