Probably been asked before, but just out of curiosity...
1) How long is training?
2) How much is training pay?

D- for attitude, and uh doesn't SEEM like you knows what it says...or you would have a valid first class medical. I agree if you've been getting first's for the last two years there was, in fact, no f'ing reason, but now you've got an interview and that was one of their requirements. Sounds like a good f'ing reason to me.

Just thought I'd throw my situation out there, you can safely anticipate 8 weeks, but you might have to wait just a smidge longer. Let me know if you have any questions.

These questons may have been asked and answered already but I'll ask again:
Does Mesaba train with the AQP format?
Is housing provided during training?
Does Mesaba have ACARS?
Do yall currently fly into JFK or LGA?
How are the overnights? (hotels ect..)
What's the average age of the crew?
Is Mesaba a good place to work?
Do you like your job?

Friend asked this in the interview, that was the answer. Now for those that actually went through it, how was it?

These questons may have been asked and answered already but I'll ask again:
Does Mesaba train with the AQP format?
No.
Is housing provided during training?
Yes, single occupancy hotel room
Does Mesaba have ACARS?
The CRJ's do, Saabs only have Tamdar( basically only for out/in times)
Do yall currently fly into JFK or LGA?
No but unfortunately I hear DTW will soon be going to JFK as part of the merger......
How are the overnights? (hotels ect..)
What city are you staying in? Some are good some are bad......
What's the average age of the crew?
Well..... again depends on the plane but I'd throw 40 out there Usually because the flight attendants skew it to the older, but that is changing with the growth.
Is Mesaba a good place to work?
Generally yes.
Do you like your job?
Better lately......

But there are pilots at Mesaba who don't like the job. I have found that they are often:
1) Commuters
and/or
2) People who this is their first job (other than instructing)
