How's this for an answer-? Maybe.

Maybe that juicy trip that would have upped your credit, thereby allowing more days off, just happened to be on, or partially on, your inviolate days.

Also, maybe your inviolate days caused your other days off to occur during the time of some other juicy trip.

If you have questions, you can call Planning and ask them.

Or the flip side:

Maybe you needed the weekend of the 19, 20, 21st off and get it with your inviolate days.
Or you were going to be JM'd and they couldn't because your inviolate day was the next day.
You know if you are awarded inviolate days X, Y and Z you WILL have those off

I applied about two months ago and I updated it twice. It took about 4-6 weeks to get a response, so I doubt updating it puts it in the back of the que. Hopefully that helps.

Absolutely. I'm not knocking INV days, and bid them often. I was just explaining how they could maybe degrade the rest of your build up schedule.

Also what's the deal with giving up your seniority number. Is that after they offer you the conditional offer of employment or is it not until your first day of ground class?

Well I think I figured out who you are and I looked and I think you might have bid on green lines which are only available to green pilots with << next to there name (looks like 10 this month). You in actuallity only had 40 lines including high speeds available to you. And if you did'nt bid enough lines you get the numerically highest line available.

Yea dude.. I contacted crew planning and it was due to green lines. Unfortunately I had no idea that it says "green" above line numbers that are only for guys with the <<. I thought they awarded lines normally and then knocked off peoples trips later for guys with green lines. Shows what I know, been here almost a year and just today figured this out. Oh well, whats a few more months of reserve. I'm off to flight school with the ANG soon anyways and should actually hold a good line when I get back.
