I took the plunge too. I just put in my app a few days ago. I hope to get the Saabster with a late 2008/early 2009 class date.
Oh, by the way, if anyone has the opportunity to make the jump from 121 to 91/135...pass on that. (unless it's NetJets) A lot of you may laugh...but I had a better QOL at Colgan then I do at my present company...sad but true...

How many days off does the company give you for moving after IOE?

Section 6 of the contract deals with Moving Expenses. From what I read, it pertains to those pilots who have been involuntarily displaced. Voluntary pilot transfers shall be paid by the pilot (and, by the way I read it) the company doesn't have to do squat to help you relocate, which means you'll have to figure out the best time to move (on your days off) on your own.
That said, Moving Days will be provided with consecutive days off to accomplish a move. One (1) day off will be provided to load, followed by a travel days, and one (1) day off to unload. A day of travel will be considered three hundred and fifty (350) miles by the most direct AAA mileage. For example, a trip between MSP and DTW will require (2) travel days.
You have to to advise the Manager of Crew Planning of your request for moving days no later than the 15th of the month prior to the month in which you wish to move.

I posted a comment a few pages back that the gouge is exactly like the one on aviationinterviews.com If you dont have a subscription its free or there is an option to pay for more interview gouges but there are plenty to choose from for free. Anyways no sense in posting the entire gouge here as its pretty big. But that gouge was just about dead on. If you don't have access or don't want to sign up, PM me your e-mail and I will e-mail you the gouge from there.
Steve Taylor interviewed me and called me today offering me the job for a Dec 15th class on the Saab. I'm pretty excited about this new opportunity. Mesaba sounds like a great company with great people!! Thanks to everyone on here that answered my questions....
