I can't wait for day one of ground school when they "FORCE" me to give up my Mesa seniority number. Thats really gonna hurt....

I am at Eagle about 90 from the bottom of a list of 2600. So to me I am trying to get to Mesaba since Eagle now will be like 10 years.

What is the time to upgrade taking now at Mesaba? I figure I am at the bottom of seniority now so what the heck! Mesaba has GOT to be better than 8-10 years, ehh?

How does Mesaba force you to resign your seniority number with another airline anyways?

I thought I remember some threads a while back that said they were not requiring people to resign their seniority numbers.

AND "I thought I remember" when Mesaba called me for an interview 13 months ago and I said "you know I am about to complete training with my current employer and feel I have an obligation to fulfill". And now could have been with Mesaba for a year. SON OF A !!!!!!

I don't remember seeing that, but I just interviewed on Thursday and they said several times throughout the company presentation and actual interview that we would need to surrender our seniority numbers on the first day of ground school...

Maybe it was Compass they were talking about. I just thought that I recall reading about someplace that said you had to resign it but when people got to class they never had to. Or maybe I never saw it. I read so many of these friggin posts I, quite frankly, cant remember what I have and have not read!!!

During my interview they also stated that they would have you submit a letter to your former employer on the first day of class. Johnson48, you are thinking of Compass... at least that is what others have written on the compass thread.
