Submitted for the 2nd time on 10/02, called today for an interview on 11/19

If anyone wants to split a hotel room on 11/18, I have one available for $35-40. (PM me!)

And I don't snore!

I haven't gotten an interview offer yet but I have a quick question for ya. When you say submitted 2nd time, did you get the "no thanks you're not qualified enough" email the first time? I ask because I first applied back in august and got the rejection email. I then updated my online app 11/2 and have yet to hear anything again.

Anyone else care to add their opinion as to whether or not I'm wasting my time or if there is anything else I can do?

Cool

SO my question is this...if you are turned down do you just update your app online as your times grow, or do you resubmit all over again after you have more hours. I just submitted mine so I know It'll be a while before I hear anything, but at least im still going to be activly flying through jan, poss longer if I get lucky, my point being, if my times arent competative right now and they say no thanks, should i resubmit in two months or just resubmit the whole thing in Janurary. Do they keep them open or close them, anyone who can shed some light on this I would appriciate feedback since this is my first time applying to a large carrier.

I'm not sure how it works...but i was under the impression when interviewed almost a year ago you couldn't reapply for 6 months, at least thats what they told us back then

Skystormer, from everything ive heard, I have two friends in class right now, ts taking about 4-5 weeks to hear anything, so if your update of your app nets you anything can you let me know, that would help me figure out how this works.

Ok - let's get this clear. You can reapply a million times until you get an interview and then get rejected. At that point, you can reapply after 6 months. There is a huge difference between not getting a call for interview and not getting the job. Just keep updating your current application if the system will let you. If it doesn't, then create a new profile. Good luck to everyone and please have patience, each application goes through a series of screening before it gets back to HR to make interview invitations... so it can take awhile.

Bored - Thanks for the clarification. I didn't have to make a new profile after I got the email, just updated it. I know they must have their hands full reviewing all these apps/resume's. Lots of job seekers, not a lot of jobs. I'll try to remain patient and keep myself preoccupied in the mean time.
