It sounded like the 15 planes were going to be operated in Atlanta. From the company news flash: "Mesaba will operate the new aircraft from Atlanta under the Delta Connection name, and will feature Delta’s blue, red and white livery."
I would think your best bet to get off reserve quickly on the 900 would be to place ATL high on your pref bid when it appears.

For those of you who have gone to the interview how long is it taking HR to get back to you? For those who have gone to the interview and not gotten the job have they called you as well or are they sending a letter?

When you are assigned an aircraft do they give you a base or do you bid your own? If you are assigned say Detroit or Atlanta how long is it taking to transfer to MSP?

I received the call from HR the day following the interview, and the formal offer letter and new employee handbook arrived via FedEx five days following the interview. During the interview process, HR stated that they would call with "good news", and email "bad news".

When did you interview? I had an interview with them on November 6th and have yet to hear anything. They told us that they would let us know within 7-10 days but it seems like everyone is hearing back within a few days. Needless to say I am getting anxious. I would really just like to know either way so I can relax a little.

What is wrong with the saab? Your going to upgrade into it at some point. You should just be happy you have a job. To many of you guys out there have SJS. The saab makes you a better pilot.
