Try taking yourself back in time and tell that to yourself as you were getting your first job at the regionals.

Also, the big picture is scope. Its not the regional pilot's fault that mainline jobs are being lost. With that said, there is no need to preach to us.

Is it true that they have opened a pilot base in Atlanta? What are the chances of getting that as a new hire in the 900?

I got hired on the 900 for 2/2..they pushed it back to 3/2 cause they canceled some saab classes..i think these are just rescheduled.

A guy i know in class now said that there was supposedly classes planned through the end of April.

For the Mesaba MEM guys (or gals) that commute: Is there an easy way to get over to Fedex?

Just hop on the FedEx shuttle. Goes to the FDX Democrat lot and AOC.

Jayray - the information that EW put out in that memo, probably changed as soon as he sent it out. He made it very clear that the information he was giving everyone was the most current at that time. Things can, will and have changed.

1100TT. 643 ME-Turbine. 441 Part121 & turbofan, Bachelors. It could be in the cover letter and resume you write.

I always figured that just being able to geta job as a pilot in these economic times was the big picture.

I hope not! No reason why, no. Anyone know my possibility of holding Saab in MSP?

Been told that ATL flying will be operated and originating out of MEM. Can't remember the number of -900's but been told 2 Saabs.

New hires are being awarded MSP on the Saab, expect to be on reserve for quite some time as MSP is the most senior....
