That said, "we" just sounds funny to me since your class date isn't until Jan 5th (correct?).
Ya.. You sir, made a good decision. I did not. I wish I had gone to XJ originally... but held out for OH because I was hatched and raised in Cincinnati and could be based at home. Ya, "we" probably wasnt the best word. I changed it just for you.

Thanks
I'm just finishing up ground school and inquired for a friend to the head of pilot recruiting about whether or not my friend should contact them regarding his application. He too has been waiting 6 plus weeks. Like everywhere you read on this forum, they are receiving a HUGE amount of applications daily. He explicitly said they don't take calls regarding applications, but to tell my buddy "no news is good news".

If you haven't gotten the thanks but no thanks e-mail yet there's still hope, but I wouldn't recommend pushing things too hard. It may come across the wrong way. Best of luck!

For those in the Dec 1 class, here's the base breakdown that you get to bid on in class.

CRJ900 = 8 DTW, 12 MEM
Saab = 4 MEM

The next vacancy will likely come out this week and then close in 2 weeks and then the bases available for the Dec. 15th class will be known.

Is the next class after Dec 1 the Jan 5 class or is there another one starting up in mid Dec?

The December 15th class will likely be a saab/200 class. IF there are no spots for the 200 needed then it will just be saab. There's a pattern... every other week a saab class starts along side a 900 or 200. Lately, the 200 hasn't seen much activity for new hires, so that week just a saab class is held.

Could you post the bases for the Dec 15th class when the vacancy closes?

With the bases available for the 1st in mind... which base would you pick if given the choice? What are the pros and cons at each place? How are the lines? Reserve times? What is the usage of reservists? Do people fly a lot normally, or less?
I'm hoping to make it back to Minnie, but so do a few others I'm sure )

Thanks
