Amazing. I believe one year ago, the most junior Capt was about a 2000 hire.

Yeah the instructor in my indoc class said today that some of those hired in April are almost able to make captain if they want to/are eligible to upgrade.

I wouldn't trust those numbers too much. We just found out in indoc today that our entire Saab class is slated for MEM. That was nothing like the original award.

Well the guys senior to you get first shot at that award (available openings) you know. I was assigned MEM at first and was able to get DTW just 2 weeks into class. If you want DTW you will probably get it by the end of training. MSP might take a few months I hear.
