Not sure specific contracts, but longevity at my company only accrues for the first 90 days of a furlough. Seniority continues to accrue throughout.

Getting into semantics but I’m not sure I would refer to seniority as “accruing” during a furlough as it can only improve through hiring. Having four years of seniority doesn’t really mean anything if a new hire is only one number behind you after you’re recalled.

Correct. Your seniority doesn't improve until you're recalled, and they hire and/or retire.

Let's say you work for the company for 2 years, then get furloughed for 2 years. Would you come back on the year 4 pay scale?

It depends on the specific contract of that airline, but the short answer is no for most.
