I wish you guys the best, but I hope its not like our big propaganda event like we had back in 2006 where management called this 3 base live telecast and tried to get everyone excited. It turned out to be called "the fight for our future" and how all of our planes are up for bid and we need to have a pilot contract or we will lose all of our flying. It sounds like something is going to happen, but delta already awarded all the 900s that were ordered (14 mesa, 16 pinnacle), so unless they excercise the 30 options they have, thats not it. Anyways best of luck tomorrow.

I was reading your web-site last night. It said pinnacle will directly acquire and finance the crj-900. Set to take flight NOV. 2007. Will pinnacle own the jets or are these jets delta owned. I read Mesa site it said will acquire thru delta and pay there lease thru delta...

If thats the case where did the other 16 jets go????

You bring up a good point and if that is the case, congrats on 16 crj900s tomorrow

Not to get to excited about anything they could be like your free from delta and by the way we are taking the 70 seaters with us. fend for your self.

I was kinda confused between the wording that was used.

Since we werent able to submit a proposal to delts liking back in October.
Then a contract was reached and then pinnacles announcement....
im all screwed up

How pathetic is it when we're wholly owned and still have to submit proposals... By the way, how bad can it be if they are inviting everyone to come listen? I understand logic goes out the window when you step into our GO, but even they aren't stupid enough to say "Everyone come listen... your fired."

I could see DAL coming into our hangar saying "Nice paint job, huh? Thanks for the paycuts... my bonus is ALOT bigger now. Oh... the 900's? Yeah, nice plane isn't it. We're giving them to Mesa.... See ya! Enjoy the paintjob!"

In case you couldn't tell, I'm not getting my hopes up either

Building on a fleet of 63 two-class regional jets already planned for service by the end of 2008, Delta is replacing 14 CRJ aircraft currently in service with new Bombardier CRJ900s featuring 12 First Class seats. With the additional aircraft, Delta Connection carriers will operate one of the industry's largest two-class regional jet fleets with 77 aircraft in service by the end of 2008, including 61 76-seat Bombardier CRJ900s and 16 70-seat Embraer 170s.
