Anyone out there with Eagle know what kind of equipment that new hires out of DFW are getting? What are the chances of getting the CRJ? How long are they sitting on reserve? Has the upgrade time come down? How are the work rules? Honestly, I would rather have better work rules and wait a bit longer for the upgrade than work somewhere that I hate. Plus DFW would be great since I'm from Arlington. Any info is greatly appreciated!

I would rather move back to where I am from, wait for the upgrade and have a better QOL than sit on reserve in a city I hate. You shouldn't criticize someone who is just looking for some information.

Eagle upgrade is and will continue to come down. They upgraded 79 pilots last month.

Good Afternoon,

Someone on one of the Comair threads mentioned that they got an interview call even with mins below airlineapps requirement. I thought the system kicked out your info if you didn't meet the mins? Anybody know if AE does that too?

Thanks in advance.

V/R,
Apollo

Right now outta DFW Expect the Saab.
CRJ or EMB about 1 year after the Saab.
Right now Less than 2 month on reserve on the Saab.
Work Rules are descent.
This last upgrade bid of 79 CA. Will be awarded in 2 weeks we will see how low it goes. Expect 20 CA vacancies MONTHLY for the next 2 years.

I wasn't criticizing, I was just being sarcastic................. In all honesty seeming as though it is getting harder and harder to move on from a regional you gotta go where you want to live and QOL, don't go for A/C or a promise of an upgrade, I chose XJT for QOL and base in my hometown.................wouldn't have it any other way................. Good luck

At least you are going where you want to be, looking for a better qol and not chasing a peice of equipment. You want to be in dfw, 99.9% chance you are going to be on the saab for a year, the reserve time isn't too long on it there, but the upgrade, thats a whole nother story, even with the vacancies being more numerous. I hate to be pessimistic but plan on sitting in the right seat alot longer than people predict.
