Asia, maybe Latin America and Africa, not Europe. The pilot market in Europe always seems to be a poop-show from the pilot perspective.

Newsflash, they are not AA pilots but they probably will be someday if they keep their noses clean.

AA flow has been one-and-off and problematic for decades. We'll see how well it works post covid.

Are any of the current generation of AA flow actually at AA and actually not furloughed?

I swear this guy has his own bat signal that shoots into the sky every time the word “flow” is mentioned. Except, instead of being in the shape of a bat, it’s in the shape of the Kool-aid Man.

Fair enough when discussing that AA has a flow. I will wholeheartedly disagree that we are AA pilots day one.

Even still, I think there will need to be changes to the system to make it viable for both current and future candidates. We really need to go back to the offer from 2011 when it was 50% of every AA class, regardless of size.

This would incentivize young pilots to go to a wholly owned, move more flying to mainline and offer a meaningful, realistic path to a mainline career.

they don’t even have to keep their noses that clean. One of the pitfalls of the flow, too many dirtbags making it through.

They were probably great candidates when they were hired. Working at the WO for waaaaay too long probably turned them into “dirtbags”.

Stop making excuses, this is supposed to be a premier job, hold them to the same standards as anyone else.

I am sure this is a tad hyperbolic. There are dirtbag AA captains that have been there for 30 years. You can always cherry pick.
