Sounds like a great time to be a PDT pilot. They're putting themselves in a position to be the premier AA WO'd.

I have NEVER talked to a PDT pilot that said anything was good about PDT. Before COVID they’re pay was the lowest and they were getting min days off even as senior line-holders with no way of moving any dates. They knew it sucked but were hanging on bc the flow was the shortest of the WO. I haven’t spoken to any since COVID hit but they’ve probably just been grateful that they got some schedule relief with flying down...

My phone has not stopped ringing from all the young CFI's I know looking for info about Piedmont. These kids are excited to get into the airline world via PDT. Maybe things are picking up after all.

Another hater. You’ve been discredited every time you bring that up, In case anyone has any doubts, the PDT guys I talk to can’t get enough of flying there. They look forward to going in and make AA proud.
