The AA wholly owned carriers keep a pool of highly qualified, up-and-coming talent in cadet programs. This way they are emerged in AA's policies and are monitored for performance.

I’m not in the industry anymore. I still have friends flying for various companies and have done some mentoring for the young ones

Uh huh. And a couple months ago you were an aspiring CFI wanting to know which regional you should apply for. Then apparently you went to SWA and quit. Your troll game is super weak...a simple post history search proves it. At least pick a story, a plausible timeline, and stick to it.
