Just don’t buy the strong bags helix pro.....I absolutely hate the handle on it. Not to mention doesn’t hold nearly as much as LW.

I switched from LW to Briggs about two years ago. Considering the lifetime warranty of the Briggs I don’t plan to ever go back. I got plenty of miles out of my LW (same bag used for 13 years of flying and commuting on RJ’s with gate check) and other than changed my wheels once and replacing the plastic clips for small bag it retired in one piece. The same size BR bag holds more and is lighter which is ultimately why I bought it, although I do enjoy being a little more incognito when I’m on a pax jet.

I got the BR baseline international carry on. Highly recommend.

Your typical 2 wheel rollaboard bag with plastic frame is going to be in the 9 to 10 pound range. According to their site, the Aurora is 9.6 pounds. A metal SB or LW is going to be 12 to 14 pounds. While we're at it, the carbon LW really isn't much lighter, 11.4 versus 14 pounds. At best you're saving 5 pounds which really isn't much. Especially with a bag designed to roll smooth and has a J hooked-bag as a counterweight. A bag packed for 4-5 days really isn't that heavy. Back when I commuted, I feel like my Aerocoast was heavier than my actual suitcase.

No kidding... packing food really ads the weight. Particularly for day 1. I love the weight of day 4 though.

It was my motivation to eat out of the cooler so that by Day 4, I have a empty cooler.

They’ve been out of stock since at least December....very frustrating.
