So for 00 reserve do you just bid the 18 days a month you would like to work and hope for the best, then get a mixture of short call and ready reserve?

Or do you bid for the days off that you want and scheduling fills in the rest with reserve days and flying days?

They don’t have a contract so who knows if what they do now has any bearing on what they do next month

Oh no, I have no doubt that Things run just fine on a daily basis. Probably has mostly run fine for years. But one day, probably not today and probably not tomorrow... But one day things won’t be good. And you’ll see just how much a contract without representation actually means.

You mean just like, Compass, TSA, ASA, ExpressJet? Or even going back the last 20 years or so...
Listen, i agree, i would love to see a union. But i am not a fool either, the unions today, represent the big boys. Not the regional guys. They surve a purpose at the majors. But at the regionals, not so much.
