How are you enjoying those 2-3 days off between your trips? Whoa, Atlas pays new hire first officers $480 an hour? |

How's that apple? I have an orange. |

Your top CAs make 120/hr?
How's that apple? I have an orange. I’d say having 3 days off then on, compared to 15 days off then on is a VASTLY different QOL. If you wanted that schedule you should have just become a truck driver. |

With “Plan on 4 Months at $1600 a month due to OE being backed up” and your lousy 62 hour minimum guaranteed credit a month, you came up with 4x? How?

But use the right numbers, not APC. Just to give you an idea. Yes, training pay sucks. But currently it's still closer to 4000/month take home pay. Atlas compensation is low compared to UPS, Fedex et al. Comparing it to a regional just shows your ignorance. Like I said. Cue the kool aid. |

Yeah tell me the “math” though.
After training pay, my friends are making around double of what they were making as regional CAs. Actual take home money, not the "I ran the numbers from APC and this is what came out" numbers. That's year 1 pay. Take off your SkyWest goggles and maybe you'll see, there are pretty decent jobs out there. I know the kool aid is strong there though. |

1600/mo training pay right now is approx. 3600/mo take home pay. That's the math.

Yeah… I’m making more than double that a month on 5 year pay… not including the 6 bonus payments per year. I don’t know where this 4x is coming from, but I doubt you ever make 440,000+ a year at Atlas. No doubt at FedEx and UPS eventually, but Atlas? Nah.
So you are making double, on year 5 CA pay, than I am making on our training pay. Kinda proves my point. If you read my original post, the 4x was FO to FO. It'll be more like 2.5-3x when comparing CA to CA. And yes, there are people at Atlas who make 500k+. Not many, just as you so observantly noticed, Atlas is not Fedex/UPS, but there are some. "ever" is a strong word. I wouldn't use it unless you know what you are talking about. |
