Whiskey has by far the best contract and work rules of the aviate carriers. It is also the riskiest with the contract expiring in a year with no information being leaked about a future, or future with United.

I read the whole thing, I’m not implying the 145 is flying 10 years from now, but this seems like further evidence UA plans on axing the 200 in the immediate future. The 145 just gets a bit of a stay of execution.

The immediate threat to the 145/200 is pilot supply. what management wants/plans isn’t relevant

if they have to pay substantially more to staff regional cockpits, the single class airplanes are the first cut.

Using the same logic, the 200 at OO got an Bluebox entertainment system install. So go figure.

They have the oldest fleet of 50 seaters in the entire industry. Maybe AW will find some profitable contracted flying elsewhere, but it’s days with UAL are numbered, literally.
