Well, the fact that he was a SCHOOL BUS driver was left out of the original post...

It's freakin' OBVIOUS that the Public cares about their kid's bus-driver more than an Airline Pilot...Duh...LoL.

I wear my hat with pride.
So order another WAAAAAAAburger, or maybe a WHineken and look for me rollin through the terminal with my hat on... come say hello, I ain't no hillbilly from the movie deliverance...
adios

bottom line is that it looks very unprofessional. It's hard to argue that.

Bottom line hotmama, is that you look wayyy more professional in your avatar picture than in a uniform. Even better yet, with a baseball hat on!

Not to get back on topic but SPI closing was going to happen sooner or later and it just happend to be sooner. There was a real need for the plane in SPI to be in BOS and so they moved it out there. Of course right around that time SPI officials wanted to talk about getting out of the SPI-MDW flights and just focus on SPI-IAD. So Big Sky left SPI. Of course having the plane in BOS helps out and it will definitely make more money over there(I don't think the flights were ever full out of SPI or MDW). The loads are great in BOS....15 people is a light load out of BOS. Usually see 19 on all of the flights. Things aren't perfect but they are running better over there in BOS.

When you combo 4 legs together, it's not too hard to fill an airplane up... BOS-ALB-ART-OGS-MSS... That's a dream for the passengers, wont take anyone too long to realize Big Sky's BS and start driving.

Well Stewie, how can i put this for your childish little mind.... The flights out of BOS are full. The flights to YQB, YFC, and BGR are all running 15-19 pax every flight with the trend being towards 19. Out of BOS to ALB is full on its way to ART. The direct flight to ART is full out of BOS, not really that many people going to OGS, and then usually a small number going on to MSS. The flights coming into BOS are the same way....full whether they have a few stops or are the direct flights.

I know that things are not perfect here but there has been some improvement and that's not a bad thing at all. Now if we could just get some people to leave the baseball caps at home....

you don't know what you are talking about. the communities got what they wanted as they are EAS routes. others served them before bigsky using the same route structure.

Not too hard to fill up a Beech 1900 on routes that used to be flown by CRJ's... i've experienced WAYYYYYYYY more than you have at Big Sky so get over your BS information. Maybe if you were a pilot for BS airlines, you'd be able to face reality the way the pilots do and I used too. As far as the baseball caps, those that get treated like sh*t should wear a baseball cap and cowboy boots with sh*t on them like many in Billings Who cares about public perception, if the company wanted the pilots to treat the public better, they would treat the employees better... it simply comes down to that!

You believe what you want, do what you want, and cry about what you want to. Dispatchers are part of the same union you're in and we get the same kind of treatment so don't give me that line of BS. I came here from a much better airline and I knew what I was getting into. The choice to live in Montana for me is worth the sacrifice. Here in SOC we try very hard to make things better for you as a pilot with whatever we can help you with. Bottom line is if you aren't happy with Big Sky then go somewhere else.

Default say again, jetlink dx

flip flop:

Also the Montana flying seems to be shrinking in the face of expansion on the East coast. Good luck to whatever you do but if I would stay away from Big Sky at the moment.

If Big Sky doesn't improve on their current performance I don't think you will get to see any of those Salt Lake and LAX rumors. At the moment Big Sky is pushing the BOS flying hard because it's what actually has full loads and people buying fares on.....EAS cities in Montana do good to have a few on a flight. The lack of crews and aircraft in BOS makes for the house of cards where when one thing goes wrong it all falls apart. If you like that have fun with Big Sky!

If anyone has any other questions let me know....I work there....I see the problems every day.
