AE pilots,

I've got a wedding to go to in Nevis. I'll need to jumpseat from San Juan Puerto rico to Nevis. What's the international Jumpseat policy?

The TSA will DEFINATELY forbid cockpit jumpseating into the US. Since PR is a US territory, that might be different though. Some airlines forbid cabin JS-ing on international flights also.

You should really ask the airline you're going to use...I would go to the ticket counter or gate and ask them. These kinds of policies tend to be enforced inconsistently, and the gate agents may do somethong other than what the policy manual says.

Good luck. No one can get a jump seat it seems like down here. In 6 months ive had two jumpseaters. Plus Nevis is a short runway and the flights are usually weight restricted so you might have an issue. You can try Liat i think they fly there or try to take a mainline to st kitts if you can and catch a ferry to nevis
