I've never seen so many bugs in ORD before! As soon as I saw them I recognized them from an episode of Planet Earth; something about they only emerge once every 17 years. They're large and mean looking too. I tried to flick one off my shirt, but it reached back and ***** slapped me before I knew what had happened.

lol

The best part is watching the gate agents screaming while trying to get them out of their hair, all the while the stunned passengers are wondering what is going on.

Had these buggers in PIT a few years ago. For some reason, I think they think our APU is a mating call.

They make a great "Airspeed Bug" though....

Nope, not Photoshopped.... As i can remember the little buggers live/hibernate underground for about 12-15 years. Then they all hatch/dig themselves up to feed and mate. After the little buggers to their buggering, they're quite docile as the next thing to do is die. We had one in the cockpit which was obviously at the 'I need a cigarette' stage, so it easily went wherever we told it to go.

So we showed him where he was going, and let him look out the window too.
