Comair/jfk cost of living

Not that I'm defending these people, because I've been jerked around too (sometimes outright and blatantly on purpose) but 80-90% of our schedulers here at Comair are brand new.
That being said, I know for a fact that the old head of scheduling (initials B.L.) hates pilots, and told his schedulers to hate pilots. During IOE class he told us he knows pilots are "out to screw scheduling to get out of work" and that it was "his job to stick it back to us." So with that mentality, we get the shaft thanks to these fine folks.

This is the most childish statement I have heard yet. I feel like I'm readng an elementary school blog here and not a professional airline forum. "I hate you so I'm gonna have my big brother hate you too".....c'mon people.
It's simple airline life which is what we all voluntarily trained for. Many airlines have their own perks as well as problems, be it schedules, bases, pay, contract...whatever. When you received the call from this airline, you practically orgasmed due to anyone calling you. Now that you have a taste, and probably under 100 hours, you deserve to go elsewhere or believe you have been screwed? You can go to SKW or where ever and believe me you will find things wrong there as well. NO airline is perfect its what you make of it, and if you made the choice to come here, suck it up as everyone else, and be thankful you have a job that will provide you the experience that many have had to wait with much more time.

Actually doing Comair a favor. Giving low timers that REALLY want to understand the profession and learn while doing it a bad name. Let someone else deal with that attitude.
