So say you have 5 CRJ slots open. You have 5 jr crj fo's who qualify and 5 more senior bro captains. If the 5 bro captains go for the upgrade then they have to train 10 captains instead of training 5. If the company is tight on people that causes an issue. It's not out of the question to see if they have done it or not with no union to help.
SKW could theoretically do it, but it's pretty unlikely. They have shown a tendency to turn down growth rather than expand beyond their capacity to handle.

I've heard it varies from time to time. Sometimes it's senior, then becomes junior. Any truth to that?
Also, how are the lines out of Denver? Could you post a sample of what a line in DEN looks like.
Thanks!

DEN CRJ CA: 9/2004
Note: The EMB120 is being removed from DEN, so this may increase DEN seniority while those folks transition to the jet (most probably will).
I'm not based there, so I'm not sure how to access to the lines. I'm sure there is a lot of variety 1,2,3, and 4 days trips.

That's right folks! Latest CRJ captain award was given to an ORD FO with just under 1 year on property. He probably had some prior 121 time since there is no way he built 1000 hours during his time at SKW, but I still think it's a remarkable event. Less than 12 months seniority upgrading to the jet....
Brasilia upgrade still stable at around 10 months (although it had dropped lower earlier in the year).
I just thought I'd hare this info since I know there are a lot of guys job hunting and this info might be valuable. Of course, past performance is no guarantee of future results, YMMV, don't chase the upgrade, yadda yadda yadda
