Its Official, NO ALPA at COLGAN!!!!!!
I really dont know what to say, I just received an Email from ALPA stating that they lost by 4 votes, I have to say I am disgusted with those COLGAN pilots that did not vote for ALPA. For those of you that voted agiants ALPA, why? do you think that you are going to just get your 1,000pic from COLGAN and move on??????????? what if you dont, you will be stuck at an airline that abuses you, and has no contract, and pays you practically nothing, oh congrats on the Q400's I hear the pay is OUTSTANDING

wow, 4 votes. nuts. WHo knows what will happen or why some people either voted no or elected not to vote at all. I know that some of the pilots never ever got the voting materials from the NMB. I guess we will have to ask around and find out why.

I know, I bet the majority of them haven't been there long enough to get a good COLGANOSCOPY, I dont understand why in their right mind they would not vote for ALPA, hell look at our CONTRACT, it kicks ass, Looking back I can't believe I stayed there as long as I did. The problem is that most pilots at Colgan have never been at another airline so they dont know how bad their situation is, lets face it, nobody goes from CHQ to Colgan, or XJT to COlgan, but how many have done the opposite and realized how terrible a place Colgan is to work at............

i think the revote thing is in one year. just to play devils advocate, why would people choose not to vote? Lazy, thought it was a shoe in? maybe some weren't voting for mgmt, maybe they just didn't want alpa in light of the usairways and united pilots trying to get rid of them. Who knows. Hopefully alpa and the OC will find out why people voted or didn't, so this doesn't happen next time.

Hey you were at Expressjet, however you were not at COLGAN, anything is better than what they have going on there now...........
