Your girlfriend/future wife sounds like a real keeper. If they will stay with you during the hard times, truly it can be said it is real love.
I actually first met her outside of work, in a non-airline atmosphere. I was not aware she worked at the same place.

But...

No, actually I never did fly with her. I was hoping to one day, but then I was furloughed. I have gone to some of her overnights (why not, I'm not doing anything anyway) Her crews are usually happy to make me "feel at home" since they know I'm furloughed. They have been really supportive. It does feel sorta strange to head to the airport in the van with them and then not be able to use the crew line

SP and GM, if your out there, thanks for the BBQ over Memorial Day! It was great (except that stupid no beer on Sunday in GA thing!)

Now if your girlfriend/ future wife reads what you just wrote she may think you two have something going on. You know how women and this profession are, unless you take them with you on the overnights. Glad to see they are keeping you strong.

The BBQ thing? She was there, it was her trip.

It's very well written, the more this gets out, the more persuasion there will be to have the rules changed.

No, it "sounded" like you were her overnight guest a few times (that's the impression I got) but I see you were talking about your girlfriend and her trips.

Only problem is that it's in a Cincinnati newspaper, the rest of the world does not care what happens in Cincinnati, unless it's WKRP.
