I think I saw a "living will" for Comair on EPIC.

Anyone have any recent updates on pilot attrition? I realize it is maybe 1 a month (if that!), but wasn't sure if the JFK commute was already too much for some. Thank you in advance for any help.

I just looked at the bid packets and it looks like the only people that quite are the people that took the early out. I think it will take a few months before people get fed up with the commute to JFK and sleeping in the crew room.

Now that RAH is flying 100 seats A/C doesn't that violate Delta's contract stating no connection carrier to operated A/C with more then 76 seats? Just like when ACA/Independence Air did when they got the A319.

I do not think RAH flying 190’s for Midwest violates the Delta scope agreement. It does really suck that we are losing more mainline jobs to regional. Good luck finding a job at mainline any time in the near future.

Isnt that why RAH has 3 airlines? To get around scope? I dont think REPUBLIC flies for delta, just CHQ and Shuttle

Thanks for clarifying that. I wonder if they will fly the 190 for US Airways. It wouldn't surprise me if RAH has a deal with them too.

The whole RAH thing is a bit confusing to most people, but who cares, they are all the same piece of crap!

Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. owns three regional airlines...

Chautauqua Airlines
  • American Connection (ERJ140s)
  • Continental Express (ERJ145s, CRJ2s (going away)
  • Delta Connection (ERJ145s; I think all the 135s are gone)
  • United Express (ERJ145s)
  • USAirways Express (ERJ145s)
Republic Airlines
  • Midwest Connect (EMB-170s, soon E190s)
  • USAirways Express (EMB170/175s)
Shuttle America
  • Delta Connection (EMB175s)
  • United Express (EMB170s)
  • Mokulele Airlines (EMB170)

The 190’s could be going to Hawaii to compete with GO/Mesa
