ftrpilot I am one who wants to be used I have my 100 hrs but I like many others hate sitting at the crash pad in the middle of assignments. Looking at Reserve status why on a day like today will they not release some of us we are not going to be used and we could sneak home for a few hours. would it be worth bidding to fly until I can hold LC?

Several reasons that could be ive been on vacation this week so i cant discuss what went on but i can try.
If your an a5 and overnightable might as well forget it cause its simple your overnightable.
vicious circle pilots mad at managment take it out on schedulers, schedulers mad at managment take it out on pilots, so who is always the middle? There some pilots out there hate us cause to them we are managment. I didnt make you guys vote on a damn thing.
hopefully in a few weeks things will change for us and hopefully not be as ****ed off at the world. stay tuned
Tower is on hold right now due to U.S. military obligations

I bid to fly last month and got so many ready reserves in the middle of my days on, so planning said that a few times that prevented me from getting a couple multiple day trips bc the ready in the MIDDLE, so they went to junior people. this month I didnt bid to fly and we will see what happens....

I think I got your ready reserves. I bid the long call and bid to fly. I got the long call but I all received the lions share of RR.
I think I'm scheduled for 10hrs in October. I hope November brings someting better. I don't think I'll bid to fly again.

That sucks do you commute on those long calls or sit in NY? That would SUCK to have to FLY in for a ready reserve... I dont have any for next month yet thank god, and I have gotten A trip for next month, so I think it helps not to have those readys in the middle of the week, then you can be put on say, a 3 day. In my case, "junior" people to me got it, bc I had a stupid ready
