Anyway I guess they will have extra classes after aug 1.

They don't want 100 pilots. They want 72. Yes.. they do want bare minimums.

wow... the C7F went super junior. My guess, is that it went so junior because so many C7F's got awarded an upgrade in the vacancy bid. I'm sure when the displacement bid comes out and less C7F upgrade, that it will go back to being senior.

That doesn't mean crap! There are several FOs that got awarded upgrade but aren't even close. This is all going to change with the displacement bid.

You guys did notice this part right?

"Please remember if you fail to notify Comair of your intention to resign you may be terminated instead of being processed as a resignation."

True, but it does create an interesting scenario. Many of those who were awarded DRC in the vacancy bid will likely be displaced back to DRF after the displacement bid award. Although they forgo moving days, moving expenses, etc, they do retain reinstatement rights. If there is a upgrade vacancy any time within the next 12 months, they could potentially make a significant seniority leap and upgrade.

Gutsy power move if you ask me.

Not me, but it sounds like a potential can of worms for those not officially resigning.
I'm still a ways down the list.

If the company does decide to send out a few additional recalls, they will probably want to fill the July classes. July 5 falls outside the 21 day requirement per the contract, so they would be fortunate to have volunteers for that class. I don't see August 1st being an option IF more letters are sent out.

IF there will be more recalls, it probably won't happen until August.
