Per the contract (23-17), you're correct. Per RP and the Chief Pilots, you're not. All JFK pilots will be treated as if they were displaced, regardless of if they took part in the voluntary bid.

A CVG FO, of course, would not, since his base isn't closing.

They tried they once, and decided to recant soon after. Plus, after the whole Freedom fiasco I don't they are going to try that again anytime soon unless they have validated data that can be used.

Only test is the on systems and that's after 3 days of classes. Instructor says if you don't get the 80%, you'll go one on one with him, then retake it. Did not ask what if.........
It should be no problem passing it. Just gotta do lots of craming since it is only 3 days of systems then test (with the weekend in there).

There shouldn't be a "what if". It isn't like they are giving you this test on day 1 and it isn't exactly splitting the atom.

If everyone put in 1/2 as much effort into studying as some of the people (and I"m not saying you specifically) here put into their *****ing they will be fine.

good point.. although if the strike actually happened DL would have all the data they'd ever need to pull the contract... main point... airline management across the board needs to shape up and take a good hard look at how they are doing business...

Why don't you just say what you are really thinking and hoping for? You are probably one of those guys hoping that PNCL will fail, Delta will pull their contract and give all the flying to Comair. That's exactly what you are hoping for, isn't it?

Anybody know if they'll let you switch to an earlier class?
