Yeah, what you said!

The instructors were saying that once (if) they get into the October and November 2008 furloughs, they would most likely need an entire initial hire class and sims, since many never got any line experience. Some were still in training when furloughed.

Now, that's funny! They charge you $100 if ya lose your ID, but they send it to you in the mail, instead of waiting until you get to class. Did they send it certified and insured? Or, is the cost too high to do that?

Funny you mentioned it. I asked about that. Rather have a 4th sim scheduled than do LOFT. That'll be taken care of during the LOE and OE. How was the oral part of the ride?.

Yes, I think our entire class will need an entire Initial course because we failed to get our 100 hours "consolidation of knowledge." I was a handful of hours short on that. October 08 furlough. 6/08 hire.

I think october furloughs need the full initial. I think most of the november where on property clsoe to a year. I was a november furlough and there for a year and a half.

I was in OCT. 4/08 hire. I don't need the full program, but I would take it! Living in the Hilton was the easy life!

Whats your job in the AF? I was just wondering how many of us are or aren't pilots on the military side. I'm a light infantry squad leader. I was a recon team leader/sniper team leader in our BN scout platoon, but moved back to the line companies when I reinlisted this past Sep.

The oral was about the same as the first time, not too bad and just under an hour long.
